Booking & Service Policy
Last Updated: [06/SEP/2026]
1. Service Enquiry
Customers may enquire about our decoration services through our website, phone, WhatsApp, social media, or other official communication channels.
An enquiry does not guarantee availability or booking confirmation.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking becomes confirmed only after the required payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed by The Party Edit.
Customers should retain their payment confirmation or booking reference for future communication.
3. Event Details
Customers must provide accurate:
- Event date
- Event time
- Venue/location
- Contact number
- Decoration package
- Theme/design requirements
- Special instructions
Changes to these details after confirmation may be subject to availability and additional charges.
4. Setup
Our team will arrive within a reasonable setup window before the agreed event/service time.
Setup duration depends on the size and complexity of the decoration.
The customer should ensure that the venue is accessible and ready before the team arrives.
5. Venue Permissions
The customer is responsible for obtaining all required venue permissions.
If the venue prohibits certain decoration methods, The Party Edit may modify the installation method or remove the affected element.
Any additional cost resulting from venue requirements may be charged to the customer after approval.
6. Decoration Variations
Decorations may vary slightly from reference photographs due to material availability, venue conditions, seasonal products, lighting, or other practical considerations.
We aim to deliver a setup that is reasonably consistent with the selected package/theme.
7. Customer Requests on Site
Requests for significant changes after the team has started setup may result in additional charges.
Additional work will generally be performed only after customer approval.
8. Rental Items and Props
Certain props, stands, furniture, lighting equipment, backdrops, signage, or other items may be provided on a rental basis.
Such items remain the property of The Party Edit or the relevant supplier unless expressly sold to the customer.
9. Dismantling
Where dismantling is included in the selected package, the team may collect rental items after the event or at the agreed time.
Customers should not remove, relocate, modify, or dispose of rental equipment without permission.
10. Venue Restrictions
If venue rules prevent installation, access, use of adhesives, balloons, candles, lighting, or other decoration elements, The Party Edit may provide a reasonable alternative where possible.
The Party Edit is not responsible for restrictions that were not communicated before the booking.
11. Service Completion
A decoration service will generally be considered completed once the agreed setup has been installed at the venue.
Minor differences in appearance resulting from venue conditions or material availability will not automatically constitute service failure.
12. Complaints
If a customer has a concern regarding the decoration, they should contact The Party Edit as soon as reasonably possible, preferably before the event begins or while the team is still at the venue, so that we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.
13. Safety
The Party Edit may refuse or modify any decoration element that reasonably appears unsafe, prohibited by the venue, or likely to cause property damage.
Customer safety and venue safety will take priority over aesthetic requirements.
